Campus-licensed Software
MSU holds campus-wide licenses for the following list of software.
Cost: In most cases, the campus-wide license allows MSU to provide the software at no extra cost, however in some the license allows the software to be offered at a discounted price much lower if purchased individually.
Availability: Certain licenses are not available to students and some are limited in number. Please see information under each for details.
MSU has a limited number of licenses available to MSU employees only for Acrobat DC Pro and Adobe Creative Cloud.

Offices not covered by the campus agreement should contact Adobe directly to purchase Creative Cloud/Adobe products.
DocuSign is an electronic signature (e-signature) platform for sending, signing, and
managing documents securely in the cloud.

EndNote is reference management software with features to—
- Keep all your references and reference-related materials in a searchable personal library.

EquatIO allows users to take a screenshot of the inaccessible equation to convert it to accessible math that will automatically be read aloud.
MSU employees and students may download Mathematica on university-owned and personal computers.

MSU has a campus-wide license for MATLAB, a technical computing language software program.
The license enables students, faculty and staff to download the software directly from the MathWorks site at no additional cost, for use on or off campus. Free access to the MATLAB Academy Online Training Suite (see details below) is also part of the license.

To have access to Planner, you must request Project Online Essentials
Project Online Essentials is available for Students, Faculty and Staff.
Project Plan 3 is available for Faculty and Staff.
Visio is available for Faculty and Staff.

Students: SAS offers a FREE version of their software called SAS University Edition for Windows,

Employees: MSU holds a campus license for SAS that allows employees to purchase the software at a discounted price.
This purchased version of the software can be installed on University Owned devices and can be installed and used at home on personal devices.

Stata (the vendor) has advised that:
"We will not be providing free temporary licenses beyond the summer semester."
If you need access to Stata, you can access it through UIT Remote Labs using the General Application Suite.
