PREREQUISITE: CHMY 141 and CHMY 143, and BIOB 260; GPA >3.0 or consent of instructor. This course is ideal for students who want to confirm an interest in a career in dentistry. An overview of tooth anatomy, development and vocabulary will position students to better understand the various specialties presented at the clinics of community dentists. This is a spring only course.

This class will meet on-campus for the first week and all other weeks will meet in the community at local clinics. Therefore, students should have reliable transportation. 

 

Students interested in enrolling should complete this application (application for Spring 2026 will re-open Fall 2025).
