The WWAMI Medical Education Program at Montana State Universityhas opportunities for you to make a contribution to enhance our program and support medical education in Montana.  Gifts from WWAMI alumni and friends allow us the opportunity to acquire the best equipment and technology for the classroom and lab, provide scholarships for students in need, and cover expenses for guest speakers and special events each year.

If you would like to make a tax deductible contribution, make your check payable to the Montana State University Foundation and mail it to the WWAMI Medical Education Program at the address listed below or click on the link below.  Please contact us about designating gifts or for additional information.

We recognize that many of you have been generous in supporting our programs in the past and for this we offer our gratitude.

WWAMI Contribution Fund:

This account provides the most flexibility, which allows us to sponsor lunches, dinners, receptions, and functions with students and program guests either in Bozeman or in Seattle. It can also be used to purchase WWAMI apparel that we provide to students, faculty, guest lecturers and preceptors.

WWAMI Program Memorial Fund:

This fund was established to memorialize deceased alumni, faculty and friends of WWAMI. It can be used to support guest speakers, special programs and classes, particularly as they relate to medicine and humanities. It is also used for the Dr. George Saari Professionalism Award which recognizes an individual who has made a significant humanitarian contribution to medicine and community.

WWAMI Scholarship Fund:

This account was established specifically for creating scholarships for Montana WWAMI students based on financial need.

WWAMI Teaching Fund:

This fund was created for the purchase of teaching equipment and software, etc. that would benefit the WWAMI faculty and physicians in instructing students. For example, it has been used to upgrade the equipment in the classroom and the anatomy teaching lab.

WWAMI Neighborhood Health Initiative:

Support the student-run outreach program which includes a "screen and refer" clinic offering free services to Gallatin County's unhoused population. The long-term goal of NHI is to offer a full-time comprehensive health clinic capable of managing acute and chronic conditions at no cost to patients. In addition to funding ongoing operational supplies, students are striving to build a community medicine cabinet as well as support insole fitting for patients.
