Globus Data Transfer Client
Globus is a cloud data transfer platform that enables high-performance, high-reliability data transfers between systems. The Globus client can be installed on nearly any system to create a Globus endpoint. Data can then be transferred between endpoints via the Globus web interface.
RCI maintains a Globus endpoint in the Science DMZ to allow data of nearly any size to be easily and quickly transferred and shared with external collaborators; if you want access to the Science DMZ, send an email to rci-support@montana.edu. Globus endpoints are available on Tempest HPC, Blackmore storage, and OneDrive, providing a fast and reliable method for transfer of large data.
