Yes! We serve the entire community including MSU students and non-students.

The Rec Center is a family-friendly environment. Our facility is both smoke-free and alcohol-free and we offer many activities for all ages. We assure you that everyone in the family will have a good time!

We are on the MSU campus in the lower levelof the Strand Union Building.

We allow people to bring most food and drink within reason. Please call us if you have any questions.

We can order both billiards equipment and bowling equipment. If you’re looking to buy a cue or some bowling shoes we are a great place to come look.

While the Rec Center is an alcohol-free environment, it is possible to obtain permission for having alcohol at a rental. Please call 994-5799 for more information.

We do not reserve only one or two lanes. However, if you would like to reserve 3 or more lanes please look at the Party Rentals link for more information.

We have 6 lb. (lightweight) bowling balls, children’s shoes, lanes bumpers, and an assistance ramp to let the youngest bowlers be involved and have a fun time!

We have vending machines with an array of snack food like chips, candy, soft drinks, bottled water and more!

Combust-A-Bowl is the Rec Center's version of the popular blacklight bowling. We turn off the lights, turn up the music and get the party started! Disco lights and upbeat music give an exciting atmosphere to a fun night out at the SUB Rec Center!

The Rec Center offers both daily specials and occasional other specials. To view the daily specials please go to the Games and Prices page. Other specials arise throughout the year so please come in, call, or check our Facebook page to inquire.
