Council members reviewed and discussed the three primary responsibilities of the Council and the timeline for each activity.

Faculty Outreach Award – Fall semester

Staff Outreach Award – Spring semester

Outreach & Engagement Seed Grants – Spring semester – Award before the end of the semester.

Faculty Outreach Awards

Council members reviewed the call for nominations for the Faculty Outreach Award. There is one faculty award. The deadline is November 15, 2025.

Materials to be requested from nominees. Recommendations to the Provost by the end of the semester.

Discussion

Determined that the next meeting date is a holiday.The members agreed to move the date for the next meeting to November 18, which will better coincide with the receipt of the Faculty Excellence in Outreach award nominations.
