DIVERSITY & INCLUSION: At CPS we value the diverse identities that we, and the students we work with, hold. We strive to support all students, staff, and faculty who may be struggling due to ongoing events in our community and in the country. CPS remains committed to providing counseling and support to all MSU students including our BIPOC, LGBTQ+, and other marginalized students and actively supporting our entire campus community towards growth and healing.
A Message from the CPS Director
Welcome to Student Health Partners Counseling and Psychological Services (CPS). Thank you for visiting our webpage to learn more about the resources available at MSU. As mental health practitioners who specialize in college mental health, we know that college is a time of great change, excitement, and stress as well. Everyone struggles at different times throughout their career at MSU, and CPS wants our entire community to know that it’s ok to get help. The professional staff at CPS provide group and individual counseling services, outreach and prevention, and consultation to parents, faculty, staff, students and others in our community.
Please take a moment to explore the services we offer as well as available resources. We are glad you are here and look forward to talking with you.
Best wishes during your time as an MSU student!
Warmly,
Betsy Asserson, Ph.D.
Director
