Physics: Barnard 249 Change in Use
Description of Request
Submitted By: John Neumeier, Physics Department Head
Barnard 249 has served as an office service/storage area for documents and files of the Physics department, along with housing a refrigerator and water cooler. With the reduction in paper documents over time, the department has proposed repurposing this room into needed office space for graduate students and postdocs. The reorganization of the Physics department's main office will facilitate the relocation of the refrigerator, water cooler, and minimal necessary document storage. Confirmation from the Facilities Engineering department verifies that the space meets the mechanical requirements for office use.
