Description
Submitted By: Seth Pincus, Department of Chemistry & Biochemistry; Ron June, Department of Mechanical & Industrial Engineering
BSL2 lab vacated by Dr. Renne Reijo-Pera is being requested by both Dr. Ron June of Mechanical & Industrial Engineering and Dr. Seth Pincus of Chemistry & Biochemistry. Pincus is already utilizing room 244A as an HIV lab, with all of 244 serving as the anteroom; he also currently shares lab spaces with Valerie Copié and Martin Teintze in rooms 144 and 146. Ed Dratz already conducts his research in room 244 as well. Both June and Pincus currently utilize CBB 48 for tissue culture, but it is located in the basement. June is currently sharing a small portion of CBB 128 with Brian Bothner. He is requesting the use of the tissue culture room and 2 fume hoods in 244B. All PIs need bench space and more space to conduct research.
