Beyond grant proposals, considering broader impacts can also help clarify and enhance the societal value of one's research. NSF’s EPSCoR Research Fellowship award provides up to six months of salary support (travel costs, lodging, etc.) for you and one trainee to travel to an esteemed institute or university for onsite training and research. This opportunity is open to a wide range of research areas, and the on-site travel timeline is very flexible to accommodate work and family commitments.
