Priority Registration Spring 2025

4-Step Registration Process

numeral 1

Make a DegreeWorks Plan

The first step in the Registration Process is creating a Plan in DegreeWorks.

*Graduate students, please meet with your advisor to discuss your program of study.

The Plans tab allows students to plot their courses through graduation. Students can create a Plan from scratch, or add courses to a pre-defined template. Some departments require that students complete a plan prior to attending their advising session.

Students should review their DegreeWorks worksheet and create their next semester plan before meeting with their advisor.

See our DegreeWorks informationi website for more information on Plans.

numeral 2

Meet with Your Advisor

The next step is to visit with your advisor to review your DegreeWorks Plan. If your advisor agrees, he or she will lock and activate your Plan.

Completing this step is required in order for Continuing students to TRIPLE the ChampChange points they earn when registering for classes on the first day they're eligible during our bi-annual Priority Registration cycle.

Not sure who your advisor is? Follow the steps on our Advisor Information website to find out.

numeral 3

Register for Classes

Now it's time to register! As soon as your registration date rolls around, log into your MyInfo account to register for the classes outlined in your DegreeWorks Plan.

See our Registration Overview website for specific step-by-step instructions.

numeral 4

Verify Schedule/Confirm Your Bill

Once you have registered for classes, you can verify that your schedule is correct by checking your student schedule by day & time via your MyInfo account.

Visit MyInfo to verify your next semester courses you just registered for.

When bill confirmation opens, it is imperative that you follow the necessary steps to confirming the bill for the schedule you created during registration. Failing to confirm your bill can result in late fees, holds on your account, even the loss of all of your classes!

Visit the Confirming Your Bill website below to ensure you have all of the information you need to preserve your schedule.

Priority Registration

Each semester, Continuing students have the opportunity to participate in Priority Registration for the upcoming semester. The Registrar's Office will notify departments and students of this upcoming registration period through the "Registration is a Piece of Cake!" campaign. Be on the lookout for our advertisements around campus and on our social media accounts in March and October!

Continuing students who participate in "Registration is a piece of cake!" earn 3,000 Champ Change points by registering for the upcoming semester on the first day they are eligible.

Registration time is based on current total earned credits: In-progress coursework is not included. Each Registration day begins at 6:00 am.
