Schmidt Lab Relocation: Health Sciences Building

The Department of Microbiology & Cell Biology is requesting approval to relocate Dr. Ed Schmidt from Cooley Labs to the Health Sciences Building (HSB) to accommodate a new faculty hire. Schmidt would move into space previously occupied by a faculty member who has since left the university, utilizing the lab space in HSB 237D/E and office in room 141. This relocation would optimize existing space within the department while supporting faculty transitions and research needs.

Space Management Committee has approved the relocation of Dr. Schmidt's lab and office from Cooley into the Health Sciences Building rooms 141, and 237D/ E.
