March 26th, 2019
Dear Bobcat Parent and Family Members,I am happy to report that students have safely returned to Bozeman after Spring Break, some of whom traveled internationally during their time away from campus. I am especially proud of the 32 students who participated in the BreaksAway program, serving in four communities outside of Montana, and for Habit for Humanity right here in Bozeman. I hope your student enjoyed some down time and caught up on sleep during the break, as the next six weeks are the busiest of the academic year. A few reminders: o Fall Registration: Priority registration for classes for Fall 2019 starts now. Ask
your student if they've made an appointment with their academic advisor and when they
plan to register for next fall. Visit the Office of the Registrar for additional information. And finally, an update on the Fitness Center: Staff members have been working throughout Spring Break to restore activities and services provided by our Fitness Center. Classes have been relocated, and students enrolled in those activity courses have been notified of the changes. Additionally, fitness equipment has been relocated so that it will be available for use for the remainder of the semester. Details of these changes and restored services are posted on the Recreational Sports and Fitness website, and all students have been emailed this information. Sincerely, Matthew R. Caires Dean of Students P.S. Please encourage your student to attend the 44th annual Powwow this weekend. It's an incredible way to learn more about the Native American tribal cultures in our region. |
