Course Description: Focus is on preparation for the National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NCSBN) National Council Licensure Exam (NCLEX) for the Registered Nurse (RN) with the goal of passing the NCLEX examination upon degree conferral. The course guides development of a personal study plan based on preparatory exam results, highlighting areas for improvement specific to the categories of the NCLEX test plan and guides studying for the Next-Gen NCLEX exam.

Course Objectives:
- Introduce students to NCLEX prep software.
- Evaluate baseline clinical judgement and NCLEX readiness by identifying strengths and areas for improvement via a benchmark exam.
- Create and submit a study plan for NCLEX success including elements of review, remediation, and practice exams.
Course Learning Outcomes: Upon completing this course, the student will be able to:
- Create a personalized study plan for the NCLEX examination post-graduation.
- Utilize the NCLEX test bank programs available via prep software.
- Demonstrate study progress and real-time knowledge theough NCLEX simulation exams.
- Review the NCLEX test plan and NCSBN website.
