Nursing Scholarship Information
The Mark & Robyn Jones College of Nursing is pleased to be able to offer scholarships for traditional undergraduate, accelerated undergraduate and graduate nursing students. A dedicated community of alumni, industry partners and friends generously support the scholarship program in the College of Nursing.
Scholarship applicants are reviewed in the spring semester each year and recipients are notified by June of awards for the following academic year.
Who can apply
Traditional undergraduate, accelerated undergraduate and graduate Nursing students. While the college does not have scholarships available to pre-nursing students, students in the pre-nursing part of their curriculum are encouraged to apply in Cat $cholarships with the possibility of receiving non-departmental awards.
Eligibility for need-based scholarships is determined by the MSU Office of Financial Aid. Students who wish to be considered for need-based scholarships must complete the FAFSA student aid application.
Only accepted MSU students will be able to use Cat $cholarships online applications.
When to apply
FAFSA priority deadline is December 1.
Cat $cholarships opens November 1. The priority deadline for nursing scholarship applications is February 1, to be awarded for the following academic year.
If you are in a program given admission after the February 1 deadline, you will have a special application window to apply. Please do not pay attention to listed deadlines if this applies to you.
