There are several sewing machines available for use in the Makerspace, as well as an iron, ironing board, and selection of fabrics, thread, and hardware. The industrial sewing machine and a lot of the fabric was donated by Mystery Ranch, and other materials have been donated by Sitka.

Machines:

  • Singer Classic 44S, a user friendly sewing machine, able to do multiple stitch patterns through light materials.
  • Bernina 1001 , a user friendly sewing machine, able to do multiple stitch patterns through light materials
  • Brother LT2-B872-5, an industrial sewing machine, excellent for use with heavier materials. Training from a Makerspace is required before this machine can be used.
