Congratulations Seniors!

Ayden DeBruycker

“4-H has meant the world to me! I am proud to have been an Eager Eagle 4-H club member for 10 years. I joined 4-H because of the wide variety of projects and learning opportunities it provided. 4-H allowed me to become involved in my community and have meaningful volunteer experiences, to learn how to become a successful leader, to develop skills in agricultural and animal-related projects, to have confidence in public speaking, and to gain life skills needed for my future. 4-H allowed me to learn by doing, which is how I learn best. I have applied this knowledge and skill set to my everyday life as well as passing it on to younger 4-H members. 4-H helped shape my work ethic, independence, and responsibility while always providing a sense of belonging and achievement. My active ten-year involvement helped me find my joy and spark, leading me to pursue a degree in veterinary medicine. I will forever be grateful for my participation in Teton County 4-H!”

Waverly Konen

“My all-time favorite 4-H activity is camp. As a camper I had an absolute blast with my friends, shout out to my fellow seniors Grace, Katie and Ayden! As a counselor I had even more fun, while receiving the best leadership learning I have had so far. My two words of advice to younger 4-Hers is to go to 4-H camp and start public speaking now even if that simply means saying something at your club meeting, it is beneficial and much easier to learn now.

P.S. record books are really helpful when writing scholarships so do them, even if you don’t want to!”

Leah Paulson

“To me, 4-H is all about relationships and opportunities. Trying new things and learning how to excel at them is what 4-H is meant to do! It is a safe place to mess up, learn, and grow. When I think of 4-H, I think of the relationships built, the things I’ve tried, and the fun and adventures had. I could never replace the mentorship that my 4-H leaders and coaches have given me. My life will always be enhanced by the things I have learned in 4-H.”

With another successful state meet behind them, the Rocky Mountain Top Shots look forward to building on their achievements and continuing a tradition of excellence in the years to come.

Katy Morris

“4-H has taught me leadership, responsibility, and confidence. It has helped me grow through hard work, teamwork, and dedication. Through-out my years in 4-H, I’ve built lifelong skills, and found a community that feels like family. Head, Heart, Hands, and Health have shaped who I am and who I’m becoming.”

A big shout out to senior Katy Morris for putting on an event in true 4-H style!

Senior 4-H member Katy Morris spearheaded and taught an all-species 4-H Livestock Quality Assurance meeting for large animal members, on Sun Apr 26, 2026, at the Weatherbeater Arena.

Katy (with help from the whole Morris family) planned, set up, presented, and cleaned up a wonderful event that provided tips on care, feeding, and showmanship of large animals. Way to go, Katy!!

Katy enlisted the sponsorship of Hubbard Feeds (Thank you, Hubbard!) who provided a tasty lunch for 44 large animal members and some parents and siblings, too!

Congratulations to these 4-H Foundation Shcolarship Recipients
