In 2011 the June 8, 2010 ballot language offered voters the opportunity to change from partisan elections of county elected officials to a nonpartisan vote. The nonpartisan elections were passed by voters. This was an off-cycle election, and is inconsistent with the law (The Elected County Official form does not allow nonpartisan elections).
