The retention and graduation rates of American Indian/Alaska Native (AIAN) students at MSU are presented below. The default filter is to show all students who reported identifying as American Indian or Alaskan Native.

If you prefer to see rates using the definition of race/ethnicity from the U.S. Department of Education*, choose "American Indian or Alaskan Native" under "Select IPEDS Race" and choose "All" under "Select American Indian."

 

*Colleges and universities receiving federal funds are required to report enrollment of students listed with a single federal race/ethnicity category using the following categories as defined by the U.S. Department of Education (https://nces.ed.gov/ipeds/report-your-data/race-ethnicity-collecting-data-for-reporting-purposes). 

  • American Indian or Alaskan Native only, non-Hispanic
  • Asian only, non-Hispanic
  • Black or African American only, non-Hispanic
  • Hispanic only, or Hispanic and any race category
