Favorite thing to do in Bozeman:
I love fly fishing around the Bozeman area. You will find me on the Gallatin or Madison River (catching more grass than fish). When the weather is not fly fishing friendly I enjoy going downtown with my friends and supporting local business!
Best college memory:
ESPN College Game Day coming to Bozeman in November 2022 for the Brawl of the Wild Game. Getting to be a student during this time was an absolute surreal experience. I remember leaving class early Thursday to watch the big orange bus come down main street escorted by the rodeo team. My dad had us up at 4 am Saturday to get close to the front to watch the show. I don’t think I have ever been that excited to be up that early. It was a huge production and was amazing to see how much they loved Bozeman. It was also the coldest game day they’d ever been to! (A heat wave of 5 degrees) Which made that Bobcat W that much better!
Words of wisdom:
Don’t put so much pressure on yourself. Starting college is a huge shift from high school, and you’re going to change a lot. It’s okay to not know who you want to be when you graduate, or what you want to do with the rest of your life. That is what college is for, to help you learn more about yourself. You don’t have to have it all figured out at 18, and no one expects you to. Work hard, have fun, try new things, ask for help when you need it and do your best!
