Favorite thing to do in Bozeman:

Some of my favorite things include hiking to the various mountain lakes in the area, paddleboarding and fishing, and spending summer evenings hammocking somewhere with a view. I also play in local hockey leagues, and when I’m not on the ice, you can usually find me exploring Yellowstone, hoping to spot and photograph one of the area’s wolf packs. I’m always up for a good concert too, especially at Pine Creek Lodge or The ELM.

Best college memory:

One of my best college memories was being elected to my student body presidency and having the opportunity to help plan and work New Student Induction/Orientation. It was an experience that gave me the chance to be deeply involved in campus life while working alongside an incredible team. What made it so memorable wasn’t just the event itself, but the relationships I built along the way. Being part of that team, working toward something bigger than myself, and helping welcome a new class to campus is something I’ll always look back on as one of the highlights of my college experience.

Words of wisdom:

My biggest piece of advice is to get involved! Join something, try something new, and put yourself out there. Some of the best experiences come from becoming part of something bigger, meeting new people, discovering new interests, and developing the hobbies you already love. I’d also encourage you to explore your options when it comes to university studies. As a first-generation college student, I didn’t always know what paths were available or what I wanted to do, and I wish I had given myself more freedom to explore. You don’t have to have it all figured out! Give yourself the opportunity to try, learn, and find what excites you.
