In addition to a major of your choice, examine basic feminist theory and methodology, as well as issues and theories of gender inequalities and identity.

Women’s, Gender & Sexuality Studies – Minor

Students in the Women’s, Gender & Sexuality Studies program at Montana State are encouraged to engage actively in the innovative and challenging work of interdisciplinary research. Coursework engages with feminism, gender and sexuality studies, queer theory, LGBTQIA+ studies and how the above intersect with race, ethnicity, class, nationality and other categories of difference form identity and society at large. As an interdisciplinary minor, Women’s, Gender & Sexuality Studies compliments a wide variety of majors and career paths.
