Personal and Consumer Finance – Minor
The Personal and Consumer Finance minor at Montana State examines the lifecycle and ecological factors that influence the complexity of individual and family financial decision-making processes. This minor explores how to foster financial well-being with coursework that builds financial knowledge and capabilities to support others through formal and informal practices. Financial Education
This minor provides a strong complement to secondary education majors in Family and
Consumer Sciences Education and Social Studies Education. Seventeen states currently
require coursework in personal finance for high school graduation.
