Chemistry Teaching

The Chemistry teaching option is designed for students who wish to become licensed to teach chemistry in grades 5-12.

Chemistry Teaching – B.S. in Chemistry & Biochemistry, Teaching Emphasis

Housed within MSU’s Department of Chemistry & Biochemistry as an option within the Chemistry major, the teaching option provides a thorough background in the basic fields of chemistry and an acquaintance with the more relevant aspects of chemistry in society, which are essential to any practicing chemistry teacher.

In addition to a teaching major, Chemistry (5-12) is available as a teaching minor.
