Art Education K-12 Broadfield – B.A. in Art, Art Education K-12 Broadfield Emphasis

The Art Education K-12 Broadfield option at Montana State is specifically designed for students who wish to become licensed to teach art to elementary, middle and high school students in kindergarten through grade 12. Art Education K-12 Broadfield students are enrolled in a combination of art, art history and education coursework designed to prepare those students to thrive as teachers. Often, Art Education K-12 Broadfield majors also obtain a teaching minor to strengthen their skills and reach more students within the classroom.

The Art major offers four additional Options Within the Major: Art HistoryGraphic Design, Liberal Arts Studio and Studio Arts. In addition to a teaching major, Art (K-12) is available as a teaching minor.
